PinePhone modem can now run Linux kernel 5.10

Pine64 reported on its Twitter that the PinePhone modem can run Linux kernel 5.10 (postmarketOS). This is fantastic news for the entire world of Free and Open Source Software. Currently, it cannot be used directly, but it is a big progress in opening up the firmware for the modem

There’s still blobs needed for the mobile connectivity yes, but this moves the line between the opensource and the closed part a bit.
