Debian 11 Bullseye Installer will support Pinebook Pro. On December 6, Cyril Brulebois announced the new, third alpha version of the installer.
It also includes support for the Linux 5.9 kernel and enabling graphics installer for the AArch64 (ARM64) architecture. As a result, the Debian installer “Bullseye” also gained support for new ARM devices, including the Pine64 Pinebook and Pinebook Pro laptops.
Among other notable improvements, the Debian Installer for Debian 11 Bullseye got UEFI boot manager and secure boot support, support for open-source NTFS-3G driver on ARM64 systems to access NTFS file systems, and improved detection hardware and driver support.
Debian 11 Bullseye is expected to come out in summer 2021.
